Meanwhile, the Odisha Cricket Association nominated tainted and jailed former supremo Asirbad Behera’s son Sanjay Behera as its representative at the BCCI AGM on October 23. Sanjay has recently been elected secretary of the association as his father, who has been arrested by CBI for his active connection with a chit-fund scam, voted from jail.

Stokes wins players’ award after World Cup heroics
Ben Stokes has been voted the Professional Cricketers’ Association players’ Player of the Year after starring in England’s maiden World Cup win and repeating his heroics during the Ashes series.
