House Surgeons’ stipend enhanced

Jammu: The government today accorded sanction to the enhancement of stipend from Rs 19,500 to Rs 35,000 per month of House Surgeons currently working in Government Medical College, Jammu, Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Rajouri, Doda and Kathua and Government Dental College (GDC), Jammu and Srinagar.

Ashok Koul meets Governor

Jammu: Ashok Koul, general secretary (organisation), J&K, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhawan here on Wednesday.Koul shared with the Governor the views of the party on the prevailing scenario and strengthening of the grassroots level democratic institutions for holistic development of J&K and Ladakh.
