Rayudu doesn’t regret his ‘3D’ jibe on Prasad

Former India batsman Ambati Rayudu said that he has no regrets about the “3D” jibe he made at chairman of selectors MSK Prasad in April after being dropped from the World Cup squad. The stylish right-hander was in the fray to be picked as the No. 4 batsman for India’s World Cup campaign before being ignored. The selectors instead picked up Vijay Shankar, and Prasad explained this by saying that “Vijay Shankar is three dimensional”. Rayudu mocked this description by writing on Twitter on April 16: “Just ordered a new set of 3D glasses to watch the World Cup.” Today Rayudu was asked if he regretted this comment. “I don’t regret anything,” Rayudu said, and admitted that the World Cup snub did affect him.
