Bathinda: A firing incident was reported from Gidder village in the Nathana block in the district. The reason behind the incident is said to be a political rivalry. The accused have been identified as Kalu and Harpreet Singh. The police have booked three other unidentified persons as well.  Complainant Narden of the same village told the police that on May 23, the accused opened a fire on him over a political rivalry. On his complaint, a case under Sections 307, 341, 427, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the accused at the Nathana police station. TNS
