Phagwara: Power supply will remain suspended to various villages and localities— Manawali, Sunaran Rajputan, Kirpalpur, Darwesh Pind, Ucha Pind, Sarhali, Nathewa, Dhani Pind, Lakhnpal, Daduwal, Raipur, Hardo Frala, Chachowal, Mehru, Salarpur, Autholi, Gandwa, Mehtan, Narang Shahpur, New Abadi Narang Shahpur, Daultpur, Hadibaad, Pakka Bhag, Mansa Devi Nagar, Valmik Mohalla, Ram Vihar, Sant Sarwan Dass, Pakka Bhag Haakuopura Sandhu Colony, Bakhshish Enclave, Makodar Road, Taj Colony, Greenland Bhagat Pura, Preet Bagar, Shaheed Udham Singh Nagar and Kotrani, on Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm, due to the maintenance of power lines. Man killed in mishap

Phagwara: Swatantar Parmar, a resident of Una (HP), was killed on the spot, when his car was hit by another car near Goraya, on the national highway on Friday night. The victim was on his way to Ludhiana. The police have registered a case and sent the body to the Civil Hospital for autopsy. OC

Mobile snatched

Phagwara: Two unidentified persons snatched a mobile, near Windsor Palace from Vinay Singh, a resident of Santokhpura, here on Friday night. The police have registered a case under Sections 379-B and 34 of the IPC. OC

Phone, cash stolen

Phagwara: Two mobile phones, a cycle and Rs 3,000 in cash were found stolen from the house of a trader Raja Ram, a resident of a locality near City Heart Resorts, on the Phagwara-Hoshiarpur road, on Friday night. The police have registered a case. OC
