Brahmpura conspired with Cong: Sukhbir

SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal has alleged that MP Ranjit Singh Brahmpura unleashed a conspiracy to split the party after a meeting with Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and so the doors of his party are closed for him forever.

Badal was addressing a party workers’ meeting in Nuarangabad village, 10 km from here, today which was also attended by SGPC members. He said Brahmpura and other leaders, including Rattan Singh Ajnala and Sewa Singh Sekhwan, even timed their “protest” against the SAD as per the directions of the Congress. “The intention was to open another front against the SAD to coincide it with the stage-managed dharna at Bargari,” he added.

Sukhbir said party patron Parkash Singh Badal had been the most hurt by Brahmpura’s betrayal.
