A 10-year-old boy, who went missing from the Ambala railway station around 15 months ago, was reunited with his parents today.

SI Manbeer Singh said the GRP Ambala found him at the railway station on October 9, 2017, and sent him to Bal Ashram, Karnal.

After he was counselled, the police came to know that he was from West Bengal and his name was Koleshnath, aka Gopal, while his father’s name was Sompal.

The police started a search for his family, but his parents had shifted to Rishikesh, he said. “We traced his parents to Rishikesh and handed him over today,” he said. — TNS
