A book titled “Climax” authored by senior sports journalist and TV commentator Manoj Joshi was released here on Wednesday. The book published by Lenin Media Private Limited contains information of 50 top wrestling bouts in the Pro Wrestling League (PWL).

Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu and Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, president, Indian Wrestling Federation, released the book on the final day of the PWL Season-4 being held at the Municipal Corporation Indoor Stadium on Pakhowal Road.

Speaking on the occasion, Sharan Singh said the book contains information about wrestlers who had fought memorable bouts but found no mention earlie. He said this book would benefit young wrestlers. This would help them a lot, said Sharan Singh.

Joshi, who has been contributing in the field of sports journalism for the last 30 years as an author and commentator told that the book carries knowledge about those wrestlers who, after trailing against their opponents, bounced back to wrap up the ties.

Having already written five books on sports, Joshi was felicitated by the Maharashtra government and Haryana Sports Department for his outstanding contribution in the field of sports. Joshi also enacted the role of wrestling expert in Bollywood movie “Dangal”.

Kartikey Sharma, founder of Pro Spotify, film producer Goldy Behl and Bhupender, co-owner of Haryana Hammers, among others, were also present.
