Body recovered from Siswan dam

KHARAR: The Mullanpur Garibdass police recovered the body of the youth who had jumped into the Siswan waters on Thursday.

The Mullanpur Garibdass police recovered the body of the youth who had jumped into the Siswan waters on Thursday. The youth was identified as Karan (25), a native of Moradabad.

SHO Rajesh Hasthir said that the youth jumped into the waters after taking of his shirt. He said five youths were enjoying near the dam, when this incident took place. He said divers from Jind were called and they worked hard on Friday to recovered the body. The police have proceeded under Section 174 of the CrPC. A post-mortem will be conducted on Saturday. — OC
