Delhi Police has recovered two bodies from a flat at Dilshad Garden. The bodies are of a mother aged 51-year-old and son, Ravi Malhotra (20), said police.

As per the neighbours of the deceased, some people, claimed to be as close relatives, had visited them on Saturday late evening. Since last few days, they wanted to get in touch with them but somehow they couldn’t get in touch. The neighbours told the police that the relatives asked them to enter the house of the deceased through their window. But, the neighbours denied doing so. After which, the relatives sought help from the police.

The police broke the door's lock to enter the house and discovered Ravi's body lying in the pool of blood in the bathroom and his mother's body in a bed box of the other room. According to the neighbours, Ravi and his mother had shifted 10-15 days ago in the flat and the mother did not use to interact much in the neighbourhood. Also, no one ever saw Ravi and his mother together in the building.

As per a senior police officer, who was at the spot, the entry in the flat was friendly, thus believes that this might have be done by someone known. Nothing was stolen from the flat. Police has grabbed the CCTV footage of the building and trying to identify the people who entered the house of the deceased.
