BJP to hold meetings to woo women voters

NEW DELHI: With an idea to explain the achievements of the Narendra Modi government, the woman cell of Delhi BJP, along with national leaders, will start meeting women on February 18.

With an idea to explain the achievements of the Narendra Modi government, the woman cell of Delhi BJP, along with national leaders, will start meeting women on February 18.

The party leadership has first met people of Poorvanchal, traders, slum dwellers and farmers. Now it has targeting the women. They will also meet Muslim women and will discuss the Triple Talaq Bill that could not be moved in the Rajya Sabha. They will blame the Opposition for the government’s failure for moving the Bill in the Rajya Sabha, sources in the party said.

The sources said national women cell president Vijaya Rahatkar will address eight functions in two days (February 18 and 19) – women beneficiaries of the Modi government, Kamal Jyoti Programme, Mera Parivar Bhajpa Parivar and Kamal Shakti Abhiyan. Concluding the women cell programme, the party will organise a public conference. Each day, the party will have four programmes.
