Bathinda city BJP president Vinod Binta held a meeting with BJP state general secretary Dyal Sodhi regarding the upcoming panchayat, zila parishad and block samitis elections.
BJP has stake claim of contesting three zila parishad seats out of 16 and 25 block samitis seats out of 136, while it has planned to contest panchayat election as per village level.
Binta said they would prepare a ground level report and submit it to the BJP state president Shweit Malik. He said around one and half year of Congress government, every section of society is upset with the government. The government which was formed to lofty false promises has been failed and public is turning towards the BJP.
He also stated that not only in the city, but even in villages BJP is increasing its hold and ground. Due to which on its hold they are asking for tickets in upcoming Zila Parishad, Block Samitis and Panchayat elections. — TNS
