New Delhi, October 19

Raising many issues, Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari said that the condition of Delhi has become pathetic due to the obstinate attitude of the CM. There has been 40 per cent decrease in the sale of petrol-diesel in Delhi due to high prices as people are purchasing the fuel from the neighbouring states. This is adversely affecting the government exchequer. The Union Government refunds 42 per cent of the total revenue on petrol-diesel to Delhi.

Delhi is becoming a gas chamber. The National Green Tribunal has imposed penalty of Rs 50 crore on the city government for failing to prevent pollution. In Delhi, Euro-6 quality petrol is being sold here which is relatively expensive than Euro-4 quality petrol that is sold in other states and generates more pollution. Thus, the former's price must come down, so people don't buy the latter from the neighbouring states.

Speaking on Delhi Metro, Tiwari said that metro rail was the gift of late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. It was his idea that was first implemented in Delhi. Later, it was started in other cities of the country. Kejriwal is not giving approval for the fourth phase of the metro rail projects. If the machinery hired for the fourth phase goes back, Delhi will suffer heavy loss of revenue, he said.

On the email requesting for donation by the Aam Aadmi Party, Tiwari said that this is only a drama. Aam Aadmi Party has already received money through various sources.
