Bipul, Karan guide AG Haryana into final

AG Haryana registered a two-wicket win over Delhi Audit in the semifinals of the North Zone IA & AD Cricket Tournament here on Saturday.

Put in to bat, Delhi Audit lost Lokesh Sharma, Prateek Pawar and Kuldeep Rawat  in quick succession to slump to 8/3. While Sharma fell to Gurinder Singh for four, Pawar was dismissed by Bipul Sharma on naught. Bipul also accounted for Rawat (1). 

Ankur Julka and Prashant Malviya restored the Delhi Audit innings with a 73-run partnership for the fourth wicket. However, once Malviya was consumed by Karan Kaila on 37, the side lost their remaining five wickets for just 43 runs to fold up on 124. Julka made 35 runs, while Sidhant Dhobal hit a 10-ball 19. 

Gurinder claimed 3/14 for AG Haryana, while Bipul (2/11) and Kaila (2/32) took two wickets each.

Haryana, meanwhile, made a heavy weather of the chase as they were reduced to 110/8 before Bipul Sharma and Kaila got them home on the penultimate ball of the match. 

While Bipul remained not out on 15 (14 balls), Kaila hammered nine runs off just four balls. Michael Vishal (39) and Mohit Handa (22) also made useful contributions to the chase. 

For Delhi Audit, Rohit Saini picked 5/20, which included three wickets in the 19th over of the match.
