Bargari Morcha activists hold protest march

FAZILKA: Activists of the Bargari Insaaf Morcha took out a protest march against SAD candidate for Ferozepur Lok Sabha seat Sukhbir Singh Badal in Jalalabad town on Tuesday.

Activists of the Bargari Insaaf Morcha took out a protest march against SAD candidate for Ferozepur Lok Sabha seat Sukhbir Singh Badal in Jalalabad town on Tuesday.

The activists led by parallel acting Akal Takhat jathedar and former MP Dhian Singh Mand and Sant Baljit Singh Dadduwal passed through the town bazaar in their vehicles showing black flags. They raised slogans like ‘Badal bhajao, Punjab bachao’.

Notably, former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal was also in Jalalabad on Tuesday to address the elections rallies in favour of his son.

Mand said their activists had been visiting the villages, seeking people’s support to defeat those who were responsible for the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib.

He said they shall start canvassing against the Badal family from Lambi on May 17.
