The Badals turned up together to cast their vote at booth number 118 of Government Primary School, Badal village. They expressed confidence of winning the Bathinda and Ferozepur seats and even claimed that the SAD-BJP would get more than 10 seats in state.

Former CM Parkash Singh Badal, SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal, his wife and Union minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, their children Harkirat Kaur and Gurleen Kaur and Anantbir Singh and two children of the Majithia family arrived at the polling booth at 10.15 am.

Talking to the media, Sukhbir said, “We will win more than 10 seats. Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh should keep his word and get ready to resign.” Sukhbir alleged that Congress workers resorted to violence last night, which showed that they were frustrated.”

Harsimrat alleged, “The Congress has brought a large number of goons in the constituency. They even checked some vehicles in Mansa last night as if they are EC officials. I have lodged a complaint in this regard. Some Congressmen tried to abduct an Akali councillor, while others distributed liquor and money to buy votes. Even top police officers acted as their agents.”

Badal said, “Modi saheb will definitely become the Prime Minister again. Even we are winning both Bathinda and Ferozepur seats. I have not travelled to other constituencies, so I can’t comment about that. The Congress is losing the election, while AAP has has lost its base.”
