ASI abuses cabbie, video goes viral

Panipat, February 13

ASI Anil Kumar posted at the Samalkha police station has been sent to the Police Lines for using abusive language with an elderly car driver. A video clip of the incident has gone viral on the social media.

Taking serious cognisance of the matter, SP Sumit Kumar has sent the ASI to the Police Lines and ordered a probe into the matter.

The DSP, Headquarters, Satish Vats, said a departmental inquiry had been initiated against the ASI. — tns
