Ashwani Sharma takes over as president of District Congress Committee (Urban)

Ludhiana, January 21

Ashwani Sharma, newly appointed president of District Congress Committee (Urban), assumed charge today. His appointment was announced on January 10.

A rally was also organised on the occasion which began from Basti Jodhewal office and after going through various parts of the city, it reached the Clock Tower and then the Congress Bhawan. After assuming charge, Sharma said his main aim would be to reach to the grass-roots level and make the coming Lok Sabha elections a success for the party.

“I have been attached with the party since years and will be now reaching to the people and make them aware about the policies of the congress party,” he said.
