Army conducts recruitment rally in Y’nagar

Yamunanagar, August 28

The Army organised a six-day recruitment rally at the Tejli Khel Stadiumin Yamunanagar from August 20 to 25.

Col Somnath Gupta, Director of Recruitment, Ambala, and Lt Col Nitin Rawat of 214 Rocket Regiment, Ambala, said the drive was held to recruit soldiers (general duty, clerk and storekeeper).

They said the recruitment rally was organised for the residents of Ambala, Yamunanagar, Panchkula, Kurukshetra, Karnal and Chandigarh.

They added that candidates registered online from June 21 to August 4.

“A dope test was also conducted on the aspirants during the rally,” said Colonel Gupta.

He added that Yamunanagar Deputy Commissioner Mukul Kumar also visited the venue of the recruitment rally.
