Bakhtawar Singh, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Phagwara, assured citizens to launch a campaign against illegal encroachments soon. He was addressing a ‘Face to Face’ programme organised by the ‘Citizens Rights Forum’, headed by its president Dr JS Virk and general secretary, Raman Nehra at Blood Bank Phagwara yesterday evening.

Citizens apprised the commissioner of the problems being faced by them including encroachments, vendors, parking, street lights and sanitation. Bakhtawar Singh said three vendor zones would be set-up soon to facilitate the vendors.
