The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an open letter to the parents of all the students who are appearing for their forthcoming exams.
In the letter, CBSE has urged the parents not to pressurise kids too much for scores. Further, the board has also asked the parents to encourage the students for adopting the career of their choice.
Parents have been asked to read the letter carefully and then submit the same to the school after signing. Schools have also been asked to keep these letters for future reference.
In addition to asking the parents for helping the students in their exams and not exerting pressure on them, it has also asked them to go to the examination centre with the students before the exam starts. Parents should do this so that the fear and anxiety is ward off from the child’s mind and he/she feels more relaxed while attempting the exam.
Exams of Class X will be starting from February 21 to and will last till March, while the exams for class XII will be conducted during February 15 to April 3.
