Activa rider dies in road mishap

MOHALI: A 50-year old man, identified as Tikka Ram Thapa, a resident of the Industrial Area, Phase 8, here, died after his Activa scooter collided with a taxi this morning.

A 50-year old man, identified as Tikka Ram Thapa, a resident of the Industrial Area, Phase 8, here, died after his Activa scooter collided with a taxi this morning.

Thapa suffered serious injuries in the mishap. The taxi driver took Thapa to Cheema Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries this evening. Thapa was running a tea shop in Phase 8.

A case has been registered at the phase 8 police station. An investigation has been initiated in this regard.
