Accused in murder case arrested

A team of CIA Bahadurgarh, led by Inspector Vivek Malik, on Sunday arrested a notorious criminal — Rinku, alias Leela, of Kharawar village in Rohtak. Rinku was carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head.

The police seized a pistol and three cartridges from him. Rinku was the main accused in the murder case of Anup Kumar, sarpanch of Bamnoli village. The police said Anup was shot dead by Rinku when the former was returning to Bamnoli village in his SUV in June, 2017.

Rinku was produced in a local court which remanded him in two-day police custody.
