Panipat, February 13
State AAP president Naveen Jaihind on Wednesday said the party would contest elections and form a government in Haryana on its Delhi model.
Interacting with the media here, Jaihind said all those who wanted to make a new Haryana and were above the considerations of caste, religion and region were welcome to join AAP.
He said AAP was open to having an alliance with any party for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Haryana except the Congress, BJP and INLD.
The party would adopt the Delhi model in Haryana, Jaihind said while elaborating that the AAP-led Delhi Government was providing electricity and water on low rates, compensation of Rs1 crore to martyrs’ family members and had decided to implement the Swaminathan report.
To expose the BJP government’s “false” promises, Jaihind said: AAP will organise a rally at Gohana (Sonepat) on February 17. Delhi Chief Minister and party convener Arvind Kejriwal will address the rally. — TNS
