New Delhi, October 18

Barely four days after taking charge as West Delhi in charge of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Rajpal Solanki today resigned from the post citing health issues.

The AAP said Solanki had developed “health complications” and had informed the party about his decision to quit.

On Wednesday Solanki is said to have skipped a crucial party meeting in Vikaspuri. Later, in a letter he informed that he had suffered cardiac arrest on Tuesday.

The AAP had named Solanki as the party in charge of the West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency and Brijesh Goyal for New Delhi on Sunday.
