Jhajjar, August 8

Activists of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led by its district president Paramveer Dagar burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar outside the party office on the Dadri road here on Wednesday.

The protesters accused the police and the state government of stopping AAP’s Bhaichara Kaanwar Yatra in Panipat on Wednesday.

“The party workers will organise a demonstration in Rohtak on August 9 to protest the incident. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will also reach Rohtak to join the protest,” said Dagar. — TNS
