5 killed in road mishaps

Three bikers were killed in road accidents on Tuesday night and today, while two others, who were critically injured yesterday, succumbed to their injuries today.

Jaswinder Singh (26) of Dhani Chiragh near here was killed as an unidentified vehicle hit his bike on Tuesday night on the Killianwali road near the city bypass.

Sukhwinder Singh (35) of Daulatpura was killed and his friend Jaswant Singh was injured when a vehicle hit them as the duo parked motorcycle near the bus stand at Khuyiansarwer village on the Abohar-Sriganganagar road last night.

Raghubir (22) of Keharwala village died on the spot as a vehicle hit his bike on the Hanumangarh-Rawatsar road today. Dinesh (35), a biker from Jaitsar who was injured near Sadhuwali village on the Abohar-Sriganganagar road yesterday, succumbed to his injuries today.

Shahjad (37), who was critically injured in a bike-pickup collision yesterday on the Sriganganagar-Gharsana road, succumbed to his injuries today.
