5,000 examined at free dental check-up camps

JALANDHAR: The dental fortnight organised under ‘Tandarust Punjab Mission’,concluded today. It was commenced on October 3. As many as 5,000 patients were examined and 214 poor patients were given free dentures.

The dental fortnight organised under ‘Tandarust Punjab Mission’,concluded today. It was commenced on October 3. As many as 5,000 patients were examined and 214 poor patients were given free dentures.

Medical Superintendent Dr Jasmeet Kaur Bawa said free dental treatment was given to each patient at the Civil Hospitals at Jalandhar, Phillaur, Nakodar, Kartarpur, Bara Pind, and Adampur.

She said the programme got a massive response. She asked people to visit dentists after every six months. —TNS
