3,681 took benefit of Saanjh Kendras in Jan, says SSP

Mansa SSP Gulneet Singh Khurana on Monday said the Mansa police were committed to providing the services under one roof at the Saanjh Kendras, enabling the public to get their work done in a hassle-free manner.

He said in January, 3,681 applicants had taken advantage of different services at such kendras across the district. All kinds of police-related services covered under the Right to Service Act were provided at the centres.

He appealed to the people to take advantage of the centres at District Saanjh Kendra, Mansa, sub-division Saanjh Kendra, Mansa, sub-division Saanjh Kendra, Budhlada, sub-division Saanjh Kendra, Sardulgarh, police station Saanjh Kendra, city-1, police station Saanjh Kendra, city-2, police station Saanjh Kendra, sadar Mansa, police station Saanjh Kendra, Joga, police station Saanjh Kendra, Bhikhi, police station Saanjh Kendra, Budhlada city, police station Saanjh Kendra, sadar Budhlada, police station Saanjh Kendra, Bareta, police station Saanjh Kendra, Boha, police station Saanjh Kendra, Sardulgarh, police station Saanjh Kendra, Jorkian, and police station Saanjh Kendra, Jhunir.

DSP-cum-district community officer, Saanjh Kendra, Karanvir Singh said 242 applications pertaining to renewal of arms licence, two applications for increasing/decreasing number of licensed arms, 1,112 applications regarding FIR and DDR, 44 applications regarding tenant and employer character verification, 182 no-objection certificates regarding cars and 181 applications regarding service verification have been successfully provided services.

The DSP said similarly 209 applications for character verification, 966 regarding passport verification, six applications regarding attestation for buying new arms, 412 applications regarding inquiry into complaints, 257 applications seeking information on inquiry into different complaints and 49 applications regarding various issues of passport had been cleared.
