Of the 795 polling booths in four Assembly segments of the district, 231 have been declared hypersensitive and 192 sensitive. The district is part of the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency.
District Electoral Officer-and-Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Soni said here on Monday that special security arrangements were being made for hypersensitive and sensitive booths. SP Waseem Akram said in charge in all police stations had been directed to keep vigil on anti-socials elements. — OC
