2 rape girl for 6 months, held

The Focal Point police have arrested two persons on the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl at Uchi Mangli village. The suspects, Sunil Kumar and Abhishek Kumar, both residents of Uchi Mangli, have been nabbed. They are neighbours of the victim.

The girl’s father told the police that his three children lived with his brother-in-law. Abhishek and Sunil were their neighbours. Sunil happens to be his relative.

On July 17 he went to meet his children. His daughter told him that both suspects had been repeatedly raping her for the past six months and they had also made videos of sexual act to blackmail her. “I was threatened by the accused that if I revealed anything to the police, they would upload her objectionable videos and photographs on Facebook,” the girl told the police.

Meanwhile, the police nabbed Rishipal of Neechi Mangli on the charge of raping a mentally challenged girl under the influence of liquor. The investigating officer, ASI Surjit Singh, in charge of Ishwar Colony post, said after registering a case, a raid was conducted and the suspect nabbed.
