2 held in bizman’s suicide case

JALANDHAR: The police have taken two persons in their custody in the alleged suicide case of Kamaljit Singh Anand of Tagore Nagar.

The police have taken two persons in their custody in the alleged suicide case of Kamaljit Singh Anand of Tagore Nagar. The suspects have been identified as Mandeep Singh, alias Monu, and Lakhbir Singh, alias Lucky. A businessman, Kamaljit, on Tuesday night in Tagore Nagar had allegedly shot himself dead over a tussle in gambling after loosing money.

Seema Anand, wife of the deceased, said her husband committed suicide after getting instigated by Arun Sehgal and Shashi Bhushan of Adarsh Nagar, and Pinki and Raju of Aman Nagar. A case was registered against them. — TNS
