MANDI: Two bears attacked a shepherd at Jhatingri forest in Mandi district on Saturday.

Two bears attacked a shepherd at Jhatingri forest in Mandi district on Saturday. The victim has been identified as Nag Ram (35). He was grazing cattle when he was attacked.

On hearinh his cries, villagers came to his rescue and rushed him to a local hospital in Jogindernagar, from where he was referred to Tanda medical college.

Mushtaq Ahmad, zone incharge, National Ambulance Service, Mandi, said the patient was stable.
