2 auditors held in Paonta firm scam

SOLAN: CID sleuths have arrested two statutory auditors who had audited the false balance sheets of Paonta Sahib based Indian Technomac Company involved in Rs 5,000-crore embezzlement.

CID sleuths have arrested two statutory auditors who had audited the false balance sheets of Paonta Sahib based Indian Technomac Company involved in Rs 5,000-crore embezzlement.

Sources said these balance sheets formed the basis of securing loan worth crores from 17 banks in Delhi and the NCR by the firm.

Those arrested were Shailender Nath of Arya Nagar Apartment and Aran Ahuja of the Shalimar Baag in Delhi.

A case has been registered against them. They were produced before a Paonta Sahib court today which has remanded them to two days in police custody. — TNS
