1st batch of Haj pilgrims to leave on July 4

Srinagar: The first batch of Haj pilgrims will leave from Srinagar airport on July 4. This was revealed in a meeting chaired by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan to ensure hassle-free arrangements for the annual pilgrimage.

The first batch of Haj pilgrims will leave from Srinagar airport on July 4. This was revealed in a meeting chaired by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan to ensure hassle-free arrangements for the annual pilgrimage.

An official statement said the meeting was informed that 11,600 pilgrims from the state will perform Haj this year. The pilgrims will be asked to reach Haj House, Bemina, four hours before their scheduled flight for necessary departure procedure.

Reviewing facilities being provided to the pilgrims of the state, the Divisional Commissioner directed the department to install generator sets to ensure uninterrupted supply to Haj House.
