Health and Revenue Minister Kaul Singh Thakur today said the state government was committed to provide better health services to people at their doorstep.
He was addressing a gathering after inaugurating a primary health centre at Kumharda village in Hauin Pehad panchayat of Dharampur Assembly constituency in the district.
He said the government was opening new health centres and upgrading the existing ones on need basis.
In the past two-and-a-half years, 40 new primary health centres were opened, 11 health centres were upgraded to 30-bed community health centres and 10 health centres were upgraded to 50-bed civil hospitals, he added.
