150 take part in mathematics test

Jammu: The 28th Alka Memorial Mathematical Competition was held in the department of mathematics, University of Jammu (JU), on Sunday.

Jammu: The 28th Alka Memorial Mathematical Competition was held in the department of mathematics, University of Jammu (JU), on Sunday.

Over 150 students from various colleges and universities took part in the contest, the results of which will be announced in the first week of February after the conclusion of a day-long students’ conference on January 31. The winners will be honoured in the 29th annual conference of the Jammu Mathematical Society at the department of mathematics. tns
