The Cambridge University, England has selected a student of the Gurukul Kangri University to present his research paper. As per Dr Dines Bhatt, Faculty Head, Department of Life Sciences, Gurukul Kangri University, research scholar Nav Jeevan Dandwal has been invited to present his research paper at Cambridge University during a student conference on conservation science.
Navjeevan Dandwal will present his research paper on decreasing number of Gauraiya birds in India.
Expressing happiness over selection of Dandwal, faculty head Prof Dinesh Bhatt, Head of Department Prof PC Joshi and registrar Prof Vinod Sharma said Navjeevan has always been a bright student who is dedicated to avian research.
Gurukul Kangri University vice-chancellor Prof Surendra Kumar said Navjeevan’s research paper will draw global attention on avian species in India and also towards the ancient guru-shishya mode of moral education at the university.
A few months back, four students from Gurukul Kangri University — Navjeevan Dandwal, Dr Amit Kumar, Amar Singh and Dr Vinay Sethi had presented their research papers at the International Avian Science Workshop at Tokyo, Japan. — TNS
