Sept 26: Former Miss India Tanushree Dutta accuses actor Nana Patekar of sexual misconduct on the sets of a film in 2008. Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA) reacts on October 2 and apologises to Dutta for not addressing the issue earlier’. Patekar denies charges.
Oct 5: Comedian and ex All India Bakchod employee Utsav Chakraborty outed by comic Mahima Kukreja for sending her lewd pictures. Utsav apologises and AIB founder Tanmay Bhat quits for doing nothing against Utsav despite knowing. Another AIB founder Gursimran Khamba named IN MeToo and quits from AIB.
Oct 7: Actor Kangana Ranaut accuses filmmaker Vikas Bahl of inappropriate conduct on the sets of Queen. Bahl, co-partner in Phantom Films, faces backlash as Hritik Roshan quits his venture Super 30 and Phantom film shuts down. Bahl slaps Rs 10 crore defamation on Phantom co-partners Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane.
Oct 8: Journalist Priya Ramani accuses former editor and sitting junior minister for external affairs MJ Akbar of sexual misconduct many years ago. Akbar sues Ramani for criminal defamation on October 16. resigns as minister on October 18 as 21 women journalists speak against him.
Oct 8: Writer Vinta Nanda accuses actor Alok Nath of rape. Nath sues her for defamation. Nanda files a police complaint.
Oct 8: Actor Rajat Kapoor takes to twitter to apologise to three women for misconduct. One of the complainants is Katherine Filaseta, a US-based actor-filmmaker.
Oct 8: HT chief of bureau Prashant Jha steps down from leadership roles pending an enquiry into sexual harassment charges. TOI Resident Editor Hyderabad KR Sreenivas goes on leave pending probe.
Oct 8: Singer Sona Mohapatra accuses Kailash Kher of sexual misconduct. Kher says he doesn’t remember the incident.
Oct 9: Singer Chinmayi Sripada accuses poet Vairamuthu, he denies charges.

Oct 12: Filmmaker Sajid Khan accused of sexual harassment by three women; denies charges but steps down as the director of Housefull 4.

Oct 15: Filmmaker Nishtha Jain accuses journalist Vinod Dua of The Wire. He denies charges. Probe on.
Oct 16: C Gouridasan Nair, RE of The Hindu at Kerala calls it a day before retirement after a journalist accuses him of misconduct without naming him.
Oct 18: Artists Jatin Das and Riyas Komu accused; Komu has apologised while Das has denied charges.
Oct 23: Anu Malik has been accused of sexual harassment by Shweta Pandit and two more singers.
Oct 24: A woman IAS officer from Punjab alleges that Charanjit Singh Channi sent her inappropriate text messages. In response, he has said that a non-issue is being blown out of proportion.
