Finally, a resolution for cancellation of agreement with erring contractors is likely be presented before the Finance and Contracts Committe on Tuesday. Around 185 resolutions would be presented during the first F&CC meet of this year.

The panel would also take decision on a reply filed by private firm operating bus queue shelters in city. Earlier, the MC had served cancellation notice to the firm on the directions of the Department of Local Government. Besides, a resolution related to work orders for a new advertisement project may also be presented.

According to the information, the F&CC would decide whether to cancel agreement of various parking sites, including Bhadaur House, Feroze Gandhi Market and Mall Road. The civic body had found parking staff overcharging visitors and violating the rules.

Besides, the F&CC can take a decision on Jagraon Brigde to Sherpur Chowk as the contractor has not commenced parking facility on this stretch.

Besides, proposals regarding construction of roads, maintenance of streetlights for six months cleaning of sewer system and some other development works would also come up in the meeting.

Ludhiana Senior Deputy Mayor Sham Sundar Malhotra said the meeting would be held on Tuesday.
